So, we booked this hotel last minute as we were passing through and had a three month old who was ready to get out of our car after an eight hour trip. Ms. Dawn, I think that was her name, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and helpful when we had to switch rooms.
The first room we were put into was nasty. There were stains, holes, and even hairs on the sheets. The toilet had urine on the toilet and the toilet paper roll was empty with only a shredded piece left which tells us it hadn’t been cleaned. The towels were also stained and I couldn’t tell if they were clean or not. Usually towels and sheets in a hotel smell like bleach and these definitely didn’t smell like that. We were moved into a different room after realizing the heating and air wouldn’t turn on.
The next room wasn’t much better but at this point we were exhausted after traveling for so long. The room smelled of men’s cologne and just felt icky. The walls were dirty. The shower had no toiletries. We weren’t even left soap to wash our hands. Also, the beds were so uncomfortable. I hate making a poor review but we’ve stayed here before when they were a Motel 6 and had NO issues with cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately we won’t be back unless they do some serious renovations and cleaning.
