Good service
Definitely, the pictures do not match the reality, at least for the room we got, it was in no good shape. Also at the bar, all the had was beer but no tequila (in Jalisco, the land of tequila) nor any other spirits. The door to the beach was always closed and we had to ask them to open it, and then get in by the main door.
Great location and price point. Very disappointed in the poor wifi service which was basically non-existent. Room had a large mini fridge but to microwave. Staff could have been more prompt in attending to room needs. I would stay here again (as I have previously) but just wouldn’t plan on spending any time in the room except to sleep.
We had booked at El Pescador Hotel but when we got there the hotel was closed because of the coved-19 pandemic. We were sent to the sister hotel Rosita. We got a beautiful ocean view suite. Very spacious with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The only complaint that I have is that the mattress was very hard and not very comfortable. This is tipic for Mexico. The service was excellent!
With all of the uncertainly around Covid-19, we were worried about whether we would be able to stay at our hotel that we had booked back in October. We called the hotel 4 days before arriving and were told it was still open and they were adapting to changing regulations as best they could. When we arrived on the Wednesday, the hotel gate was locked but an employee was waiting for us to let us know we had been booked into their sister hotel La Rosita two blocks away. When we arrived at La Rosita, we were greeted with warm welcomes, told all of the paperwork had been dealt with for us, and given breakfast vouchers and bracelets for access to the pool and patio areas. We will definitely be going back to check out El Pescador on another trip. Thanks for the amazing follow-up in challenging times!
This is definitely an older property but it is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. We chose it because of its location and were not disappointed. It is situated right on the ocean but unfortunately we were given a first floor room and didn’t feel comfortable leaving our patio door open at night. Would have loved to hear the waves. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pool area looked very nice. We were only here one night but would consider a longer stay.
It is old and true Mexico. You can’t Compare it to Canada and shouldn’t try. This property and Mexico are unique.
Staff at the restaurant did not allow me to have breakfast at outside table
We had a room with 2 double beds ocean view and it was great having a balcony to sit on and watch the sunset and people frolic and play in the ocean and the property pool. Hotel is a little old but there have been a few updates done but more can be done. (over time i'm sure) Service in the restaurant in the hotel was not the best but we managed.
The pool and grounds are super clean and well maintained! The location is amazing with many shops and restaurants within a block or two. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds are hard but that’s what you get in Mexico. The room was perfect and the large patio on the ground floor was awesome! Definitely a great spot for families and couples!
