Needs a good cleaning but safe and quiet
There was an odd stain on the carpet, burn marks on the comforter, left over soap and hair in the bathroom. I wiped everything down with clorox wipes. The sheets were clean. There was some liquid splatter on the walls in the hallway. There were no bugs and it was quiet. It was inexpensive, in a safe convenient area and met the need.

good budget place to stay for sports at spooky.
Hotel itself if fine for a budget friendly place to stay for Spooy Nook. some of the people that stay there are not the most desirable. I think with the cost- it ends up being a quick place to party". I've stayed there before and it was fine.

Can’t go wrong
Easy location. Well cared for older hotel. Could use updating, but still presents well. Relatively Clean. Very helpful check in staff, friendly check out. Essentially a dead end street, so very quiet. Large mini fridge and microwave. Desk and chair, but no lounge chair, which we missed. McDonalds 300 yards down street. Decent COVID breakfast. Package oatmeal, yoghurt, juice.

Cleanly Ness was a huge issue for me there was water stains from leaks on the walls chairs were dirty we literally had to clean the room ourselves before we stayed

The staff was very friendly and I felt like the room and property were clean, all things considered. The building just seemed old, in need of a renovation, and like it’s been put through the ringer by some previous guests. There were stains on the walls and ceilings, a weird cardboard/sandpaper type of sticker on the bottom of the tub (assuming there as non-slip but it just had a dingy vibe), holes in the bed linens, etc. For what you pay per night at this place, you can’t expect much better. However, though I was confident in the surface cleanliness of our room, I still couldn’t wait to get home and take a shower.
