    This is by far the best hotel in the area I have stayed at!! It was clean, quiet, easy check in/out, and awesome hot water!! I stay in Anderson a few days a week as I live out of town and work in the city for the next month or so! I will definitely be booking here again!!

    Location was nice. The rooms are very outdated and not in great shape, although they are currently remodeling the entire building. The reception area was recently remodeled and quite nice. Had a jacuzzi tub inside my “suite” but it did not work. The suite was very spacious and accommodating but not very up to date.

    College visit

    The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. When we arrived the hall smelled of cigarette smoke that someone was trying to cover up with another obnoxious smell. I told the front desk clerk and by the time we returned from dinner both smells were gone and all you could smell was a chemical smell of whatever she used. That’s where the positive ends. There were stains on the carpet. The bathroom door was warped and dragged in the middle of opening and closing. The comforter cover had signs of stains that were bleached out. The outlets were stretched so my plugs didn’t stay in any of them well at all. The worst was the roach in my bathroom. This place needs to be completely remodeled not just redecorated!

    They still had the breakfast and you were served the plates. Thank you for not discontinuing it during time. Girl serving was very sweet and doing two jobs at the same time the kitchen person was a no show that day. She handled it well.

    The staff was friendly. overall it was fairly clean but the carpet was old and stained the curtains had stains on them the furniture was old and the bedspread smelled musty. The original room we were assigned to the carpet was so stained we asked for a different room it was better but still not what I would’ve expected considering the rating it had on hotels.com
