Horrible experience. The gentleman working the front desk at check in was far from courteous. Once we finally got in to our room it was not clean to the standards expected for a hotel room. The walls in the shower were dirty, like dirt splattered on them-dirty. The sink had no plug for the drain and had a massive crack that was just epoxied. The door to the bathroom didn’t lock and there was something on the headboard that I don’t even want to know what it was. The only nice thing was the half decent pool. We didn’t even bother taking part in the “breakfast” as we read reviews once we got in to the room and they all said the breakfast was pathetic. Thankfully the hotel was basically in the same parking lot as a Tim Hortons and McDonalds. Do not recommend staying there. Find somewhere else.
We checked in fine, man at counter was nice/friendly.. upon enetering room we had issues and was not happy. We had to call to have light bulbs brought up, the hidaway bed had ripped sheets on it, also was such horrible quality even for a teenager! Was raggedy and not what we were excpeting. Our head board looked like there was something splashed on it and stained ..alittle disgusting (alot disgusting) Overall not impressed with cleanness (puttiing stuff in drawers there was dirt ) bathroom taps were party broken and bathtub looked dirty due to residue left from maybe a slip mat, plus side even with booked time slots for the pool the front counter was very accommodating to get in so theres that...
The check in area very congested.the breakfast was unsatisfying giests were not made to wear masks
Other than new restrictions because of covid-19 we really enjoyed our stay. 30 mins in the pool once a day is not enough for the kids!
I was not told when I booked that you had to make a reservation for the pool and there were 1/2 hour time slots for the pool. The pool was the reason we chose this hotel. We ended up getting a 1/2 hour of pool time at 9:30 at night. Also, I was told there was breakfast. It turned out that it was an orange, a muffin, a water and a yogurt in a brown bag.
This is the Best hotel we've check in this year .
Front desk staff seemed overworked and unable to keep up. I saw very few properly wearing their masks (usually under chin or nose) and were not requiring guests to wear. This made it very uncomfortable for those who are following laws. We had read the 'keeping guests safe' information and were upset it was not being enforced/followed. Trust in guest expectations guidelines being followed was one of the reasons we choose your hotel. But will not trust it again.
The staff were really accommodating specially the one in the check out. We have to check out really early and the gesture of the staff in the check out is great. He assisted us real quick as well. Sanitizer in place.
Good rooms, have to sign up for pool time which is frustrating but understandable. Breakfast got repetitive over the stay.
The gentleman that checked me barely spoke to me. I wasn’t greeted. The carpets in the hallways had stains and smelled of old smoke
