Lovely hotel, in an ideal location. Staff all helpful. Only a small downside: I was somewhat surprised at lack of veggie sausages etc. as an option for breakfast; the Maitre D’ explained that they don’t need to provide to keep 4* rating. I would have thought Hilton Group would be keeping up with the modern move to consuming less meat. Everything else was great.

We had a family suite where we were escorted to the basement level. We felt certain that if there was a fire we would never escape. The room was cramped the carpet warm and dirty and every so often you would get a waft of sewage. Not sure if this is standard London but the hotel was very disappointing. Only upside was the front desk personnel who were very nice and helpful.
