Hotel seems pretty old and key card doesn’t work right away, had to try many times to open the room door. Breakfast was free but there’s no cooked meals on the spot but pre-packaged cereal or fruits

Great place to stay in Keystone
We stayed here in the middle of November so everything was very quiet. Love the style of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and so helpful! The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. Great location, only minutes from Mt. Rushmore.

Workers were not friendly at all. They acted like they had other things to do and we were bothering them. It was very loud we could hear people running up and down the halls half the night. We won't be staying there ever again.

The lobby has a strange odour that non of us could figure out, our housekeeper kept coming into our room the following morning to check if we had left so she could clean the room, even with the do not disturb sign attached on the door handle well before check out times. Staff seem to come off rude, which I’m assuming is ok for them because there isn’t many hotel options in Keystone - so you make do with what you are given for options. Next visit I’ll for sure stay else where like the Ramada down the road, or Rapid City which isn’t a far drive.

Front desk night lady wasn’t friendly. No COVID precautions taken at breakfast...too many people at breakfast in a crowded area. Man servicing breakfast wasn’t friendly..was always inconvenienced. You need about three of the pancake machines
