Great city, disappointing hotel
Great location near Fishmarket and Tourist Info center. Staff in lobby not very helpful or friendly, staff in dining room totally helpful and friendly. Double bedroom was tiny, could hardly open suitcases, bed was not wide enough for a couple to sleep comfortably. Cost of washing was extremely expensive, but after 5 days had no choice as no laundromat in Bergen 😰. Overall, disappointing stay

Good
The location was excellent. The cups in our room were dirty, the safe was not reset and was not reset again after I asked. Simple luxuries like the WiFi and breakfast policy we’re not communicated to us and because the phone in our room could not connect to the main desk (at least no instructions to do it were provided and dialing 1 or 0 did not work) we had to ask later on to figure it out at the front desk which was a long walk again. Very nice people and great location just lacked some simple touches that would’ve made the trip easier.

Comfortable and clean, great breakfast.
Allowed to book in early as room available so that was a plus. Room not very big but enough as not in there much if sightseeing. A couple of broken bits in the bathroom but minor things. Bed although not as big as expected was comfortable and clean. No tea and coffee in room but i guess that's just what we are used to in the uk. Breakfast was really good, really nice selection from salmon to pate, cereal, eggs and bacon, pastries, a really good spread.
