    Not clean

    Hotel room did not appear to have been cleaned properly. Bed sheets had a stain on them. Other people staying at this Microtel this night complained of filthy bathrooms, dirty clothes and more evidence that the hotel’s cleaning function was impaired. We refused to stay there for fear of unhygienic conditions during pandemic. Requesting a refund accordingly.

    A dirty drug infested dump

    It is a drug infested dive. Dirty. In my brief stay I encountered two men who were obviously on drugs, and one drunk. The refrigerator had not been cleaned, it food in it. There was hay on the windowsill. And the room stunk. The next morning I saw two police cars on the property talking to a man lying in the gutter obviously too drunk or drugged to stand up. The only reason I didn’t walk out was because I had just driven 600 miles and I was too exhausted to go any further. Luckily the only thing that was clean was the sheets, which was the only thing touched

    Nice staff. But it stops there.

    Was very dirty, the lobby rugs looked like they had never been cleaned. The hair dryer was dirty and sticky as was the TV remote. I wont ever stay at this chain of hotels again. The staff was friendly and helpful.

    Inexpensive , uncomfortable, underwhelmed

    All the employees were polite. However, they were either understaffed, undertrained, or didn’t have the resources they need. We stayed for two days and needed help resolving issues twice and there was always a line in the lobby. We had to wait for at least 20 minutes both times. Robert, while polite, had trouble keeping up and missed answering several phone calls while trying to take care of those of us on the lobby. Other issues we had. It reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. I did see two cockroaches in the bathroom. All beds are listed as queens, but our bed was clearly not a queen. It was a double bed. When we asked about a queen room, we were told that all beds are queen beds. The room was in good enough condition but the carpet through the hotel was old stained and dirty. I don’t care that much about that but it does not give a good impression. Finally, the second night we stayed....in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, a staff member knocked on the door and then promptly started to enter. Startled, I jumped out of bed and exclaimed “HEY!” and ran to the door. He said “oh I’m sorry, this room was listed as vacant!” I went back to bed and at check out the next morning, they had trouble (again) so I said “well you probably can’t find my name right?” Robert said “correct, how do you know that?” Then I told him that the overnight staff entered the room while we were sleeping. He was apologetic. Overall, it was a frustrating, uncomfortable but very cheap stay.

    Broken down hotel

    We were terribly exhausted otherwise we would have left as quickly as we checked in. The air was broke in our room (my husband is a heating/cooling tech so he did trouble shoot) and when I called the front desk, they didn't even offer to send someone to look at it so they must have know it was broken to begin with. There were several lights that did not work, and the curtains were dirty and stained. Thankfully the bed was clean so we slept and left. Full breakfast was advertised on the site, but there was coffee, water, and some boiled eggs. Don't waste your time.

    The rooms need refurbishing.

    The rooms are in disrepair. Nothing is being done about them. We had to change rooms only to find the second room just as bad. And these aren't hidden defects. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. He tried to help us and apologized. The bathroom pocket door was stuck open. The room smelled like cigarettes. There was something on the sheets; feces, grease, who knows. The desk was broken (the whole tope came off.

    It was an easy place to stop and get some sleep. The walls are paper thin so it was noisy but we managed to get enough sleep. May stay there again for the price.
