Great hotel in a good location
Nice hotel in a good location. Freindly and helpful staff. Only minor point is that the carpet in the room was a little stained and could do with a good shampoo. Otherwise the room was comfortable and modern.

Great location but uncomfortable beds
Stayed for one night as a couple. The room was clean and shower good. The bed was not great, you rolled to the middle on your own and when two of you rolled together and ou could also feel the springs! We're not large people so it's not a weight thing.. So only good for one night as didn't have much sleep. The breakfast was OK, you get sausage, watery scrambled egg, bacon and beans and a few continental things so least you can start the day with something. The hotel is in a great location! Easy to walk to the bay or city center and other than road noise it's in a quiet location. We were on the carpark side and we're able to have to window open all night and we're only woken by some guests in the carpark early in the morning. The river side is noise due to the road.

It’s the small things….
Very pleasant staff & a good stay thanks if you want to make small improvements the armchair in room 15 either needs a special clean or to be replaced as the headrest looks dirty ( I’m sure it wasn’t but it’s the look that counts) lighting in the rooms could be better arranged for instance the side lights could be separately controlled to enhance the ambiance in the room at night. Also the tables on the cafe terrace need to be re-arranged. The big table should not be in front of the heater at the top because it inhibits customers walkway. I suggest putting the smaller tables at the top end and the large table at the bottom move the heater down there if you must but together at the top blocks the flow for customers - unnecessarily. Look forward to using your hotels again.
