The bed was very uncomfortable. Room was very small. They begin cleaning the plaza with leaf blowers at 5:00 am! The wifi did not work in my room and TV only had about 5 channels. I stayed only one night and they still charged me for 2. When I tried to call to dispute the charges, no one answered.

Disappointed.
We realize it is under renovation, but I’ve stayed at the Meliá many times before. The A/C was too loud and could not be temperature controlled, the bed was uncomfortable-made a lot of noise, the bathroom had singing pies and was uncomfortably small, the toilet was too low and when flushed the water was discolored, the bottom drawer of the dresser had no pull-handles so you couldn’t open it, no parking attendant on the premises, the hallway rugs were bunched up and filthy, you only had one key to room 113 so we had to share it with the cleaning staff, BUT the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is in a good location, the area is safe and you can walk quietly and do your shopping. But the property is very old and needs a lot of maintenance. The elevator doesn't work, we had to lower our suitcases from the third floor, the doors of the room are closing, we couldn't go out on the balcony for that reason.
