Quick 24-hour stay in Nevada Springs, first time at National Exchange Hotel. Great hotel! Friendly staff, fun restaurant/bar scene. Loved the big 13' ceilings in my room, very comfortable.

Wonderful Trip to the Past!
The first room (King Room) was as expected. Amazing comfort. There are no TVs, which we loved. The hot water in the shower stopped mid shower. Very cold experience. The staff quickly addressed the issue and got us a better room (a Queen Suite with a fantastic view!) without a price increase. I did not ding the hotel for this... it's over 150 years old. And the recent renovations they did are beautiful. They still have to contend with some of the very old infrastructure. The staff were all friendly and clearly working hard to maintain the old girl.

Classy and charming!
The National Hotel did not disappoint! Every detail of the renovation of this beautiful landmark was painstakingly, considered! Beautiful wallpaper, beautiful artwork… All of the light fixtures! Just amazing! I am a local who watched the renovation happening, and finally decided to go check out the finished product. Classy and charming!!!
