    Stayed for 3 nights and had a great stay. Covid rules meant face masks must be worn inside the hotel at all times. Check in was efficient. Our room was basic but tastefully furnished and the whole hotel feels like it’s been updated fairly recently. We had a nice sea view room with a great view of the old town wall and sea in the distance. Location of the hotel is perfect. A short walk to right of the hotel is the sea front with some nice bars and a few more minutes walk leads into the old town. Breakfast was quite limited due to Covid restrictions in place meaning that the buffet has been removed and served by staff from behind a glass screen. The pool was also nice, again with social distancing in place. Overall this hotel offers good value and I would be happy to return.

    Great place to stay! Bang in the city centre and easy to move around on foot. Beach, go out and turn right, straight down where you can see the sea, turn right again and you will find a local beach with local people with clear water and fine sandy beach😬 don’t for get towel. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Covid19 cleaning and procedure is a top priority so don’t worry people.

    This is an excellent option for a short stay in Chania- clean, modern, great staff and amenities, and walkable to downtown. The rooms are very small and the style of the hotel somewhat corporate, so may not be ideal for a prolonged stay, but it’s very cleverly designed. If you care for a view be sure to ask for one, as our room’s view was quite charmless but it certainly didn’t matter to us. It was a lovely and reliable place to serve as home base. We also enjoyed the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had!

    We had a brilliant stay at Kriti, The staff could not do enough for us. Always friendly. Super clean everywhere, breakfast was awesome, and the pool was great. Idea location for the old town with its beautiful harbour full of fantastic shops and restaurants.We will be back!

    Outstanding Hotel in an excellent location.
    I was only there for 3 nights with a group conducting a battlefield tour but this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The hotel was clean, modern looking and with superb staff. It was located nicely for the harbour area and old town with plenty of restaurants very close by. The food served by the hotel was really excellent as was the bar service. The swimming pool was small but very refreshing given the heat in June. Rooms were excellent with everything needed for a comfortable stay I found the hotel staff to be very efficient and they were always smartly dressed and with a ready smile. They were very helpful and helped to give the impression that they really enjoyed their work. Overall, a really excellent time at the Kriti hotel in Chania. Not sure why it is not graded 4*
