Cute boutique hotel in an excellent location
This hotel had very friendly and efficient service. The location couldn't be better, right across the road from the Basel train station with an airport bus right outside. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The only thing this hotel is missing is a good bar and restaurant, but there are plenty in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Luxury Family Hotel
I am not given to hyperbole, but I mean it when I say this hotel is one of the overall best I have ever visited. It stands up to, and in some ways exceeds, our Sofitel Gendarmenmarkt experience. The staff seemed genuinely pleased to see us and I have yet to experience the their perfect mix of professionalism and conviviality at any hotel. It is the kind of interpersonal communication usually reserved for very small bed and breakfast operations. Our room was spacious by European standards, and the amenities also exceeded our expectations. Big, fluffy towels, slippers, thick robes, bath salts: everything one would expect at a luxury hotel at twice the price. A convenient side entrance to the train station is directly across the street and the tram hub is immediately out the door and to the right. Oh, and a Basel Card comes with the room for the duration of the stay, so you can pop around town with ease and access the city’s ubiquitous WiFi. Our room was in the rear of the hotel and we were there in December, so it was quiet and cool. Breakfast covered all the typical bases, and although it was served as a buffet, table service kept the plates clear and the coffee hot.

Excellent stay
Had an excellent stay. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was first rate, and the hotel is close to the center and the SBB. Will definitely check this hotel on my next visit.

Euro stay
Excellently refurbished small charming hotel in central Basel. Conveniently located next to Central Train station and No 50 bus stop which takes you to the airport Mulhouse in just 15 minutes. As a guest, you get free daily tram pass and 50% discount on museums tickets. Breakfast was so delicious (home made food) and most of products organic. The only objection is that they have sauna restriction working hours on a weekdays.
