We stayed at Hotel Krone for 3 nights. The room and bathroom was very spacious . We had a castle view across the river. The breakfast was amazing and included. There is also a lovely restaurant in the hotel. We would love to go back😊

We loved it all and it was so quiet and of course off season but the road was small and not right at the hotel edge..but the Rhein quietly flowing by was so nice and we will always come back and stay here..nowhere else will be good enough. we loved the breakfast and such a regal room and great service and the afternoon Kaffee trinken was what I love with wine after..worth every penny. such nice staff at all the eating areas..We had a lovely dinner there also. many thanks..now when i miss Germany ..I will think of the Hotel Krone on the Rhein and its History and our great hike/climb right there thru the vineyards.....and the village is so nice and small yet so close to busy Rudesheim.....Assmannhausen suited us better...and we bot wine there...at the robert Konig winery..right in the vineyards 5 min by car.

Incredible hotel!
We made our reservation 5 minutes before we arrived. They upgraded us to this amazing room overlooking the vineyards, and Rhein river. You will not be disappointed in anything when you stay here. So, the breakfast was the best in our 3 week European vacation. Recommended 10/10

The Wifi was poor and the eggs looked like they had sat there from 7 am. Also the first night even though they were catering a party of 90, there was only one dinner meal available on the menu.

The Hotel Krone was just amazing. It was like walking into a slice of history: we loved the architecture and heritage of this landmark in Assmannhausen. The staff was lovely, the room elegant and we were treated like royalty from start-to-finish. The local Rhein wine was crisp and superb. I can hardly wait to go back!

Wonderful staff and hotel. Beautiful room with view directly onto the Rhine and a castle on the other side. Dinner on the patio was in a magical setting. I will be back.
