Great hotel. Location is a little outside the centre of Bern but it's right next to Wankdorf train station with regular trains (one stop to Bern centre, takes 3 to 5 minutes) and regular trams (around 15 mins), Bern give tourists free public transport so no cost either. Areas is quiet but pleasant enough and a handy Coop store next door if you want to buy a cheap coffee and pastry for breakfast. Staff very friendly and called a restaurant for us to make a booking (didn't quite trust our German!).

Don’t GO BY RATING READ THIS 👆👆
Not a good stay of a family of 4 .couldn’t sleep even a minute as no air conditioning only air cooling. Open windows and trains passing all night as hotel is AT THE BAHNHOF and very Very noisy. No closet or storage.no safe in room. Was in for 2 nights and requested to leave a day early as did not feel comfortable at all but hotel refused our request for early checkout and said they would charge us. Being a Marriot Bonvoy member made no difference to them. They did change our room for the next night but the arrogance of the staff and no EMPATHY WAS unacceptable. Bad customer service. Also PARKING WAS 24 CHF. Not that cheap. All in all a very avoidable hotel. Don’t go unless there are no rooms available elsewhere. Thanks
