Overwhelming cigarette smoke smell in room
I cannot express how wonderful the staff was, but ultimately giving a bd review as the first room I was in had an overwhelming cigarette smell. The night manager did move us to a new room, which was better than the original but still pretty bad. We ended up checking out earlier than scheduled.

Poor
COVID DANGER
No housekeeping staff wore masks while entering guest rooms, in common areas, hallways or elevators. Front desk staff was dissmissive and sarcastic of COVID danger and said it "wasn't their job" to enforce mask mandates for employees and said I could complain to the "President." Staff claimed no manager was on duty and I could call on Monday (2 days later) to complain to a manager.

Poor
Staff was very rude, room was tiny, the area is not safe, dated. This is the worst microtel I’ve ever stayed in.

Pretty sure someone went into our room when we were gone. Manager was suppose to look over video in the morning but instead told us we had 12 min to be out
Amber, us1 night business trip
Very good
Our key card kept deactivating. There were a several homeless people in the parking lot...not sure if it was being used as a shelter during COVID.
