It is not a hotel!! Its a hostel At Best!! Very poorly managed, not clean, way over priced, and the food is awful. I was booking this “hotel” because it was the only available option at the Dead Sea, and now I know why. Last time I stayed at kibbuts Kalia and Kibbutz Almog, they were nicer and way cheaper.

the hotel rooms are in a series of blocks, no big building, pleanty of room to run arroun, perfect for large gatherings are pleople can sit outside without bothering other guest. We have been in many a more expensive and up-market hotels in Israel where rooms were smaller and more dated. we stayed in the cheapest room, and still it was very nice and quite large enough!

Ein Gedi kibbutz hotel is nearly paradise created in the desert by human talent, courage and tenacity. It was the teaching and relaxing experience. There is a good breakfast buffet. There is warm people around. Decent rooms. I advise to ask about the free tour in kibbutz you will learn stories and history. Problems: because of the corona virus the beach and spa were closed. The closest Dead sea beach about 30 minutes to drive. My advice to stay there not more than 2 days.

The view we got was amazing but the rest was very average for the price paid. The place has a very good reputation and my expectation were accordingly. Unfortunately the food was just ok and so was the rest except for the breath taking view from the room.

Hotel grounds are stunning. Great place to stay if you want to be away from the Dead Sea tourist trap. We took superior double room which was modern and comfy, although there was some visible wear and tear to the room. Breakfast & dinner on Saturday was fab, however on less busy days (sun/mon) the food was not good. It Didn’t look fresh, and I don’t even know how they felt ok to serve salads, cheeses etc looking like that. If it wasn’t free we would’ve been incredibly disappointed. However the hotel staff were lovely (especially with accommodating vegans) and I couldn’t rate them higher! Other than the food, we loved it and will go back!
