COCKROACH on 1st Floor
Booked a room with a queen bed, but was an offered a single bed. When I asked about this to the concierge, Jesus, he did not apologize, refused to change my room and when I requested to speak with the manager, he claimed that he was in charge of the whole property management. When I insisted I get connected with someone else, he said "are you kidding me?". I wish I could have recorded this. Then, when I came home around midnight, I found a dead cockroach right outside my hotel room door. Horrified, I notified the hotel staff but there was no apology, and said that this happens. Feeling unsafe after a hostile encounter with Jesus and the unsanitary conditions, I decided to just waste my $ for the night, and get myself a nice hotel for extra $$.

Wouldn’t go back
There was an effort to update the hotel, but it still felt dated in certain areas. When we were going to bed & pulled back the sheets, the mattress and sheets were wet. They were able to give us another room, but I just felt uncomfortable after that. The $19.95 resort fee is a little ridiculous and they said they offer snacks but only between 4-6pm which of course no one is there during that time. It would be nicer to have left some sort of snacks in your room so you could eat them at your convenience. The front desk was helpful in giving us another room and the location was close the Times Square.

Exceptional 10.0
Cute, small rooms, but perfect location!!!
The staff was very nice, EVERYONE!! The rooms are tiny, but swanky...typical NY. There was no drawer space, but I managed.

Need more experienced Maintenance People
Bathroom gets flooded with a pipe bursting water from top. Annoying Noise all night. Could not sleep but maintenance personal does not know what they are doing.

Expensive, Tiny, and Horrible Rooms
This hotel is the worst place I've stayed at in NYC. I was supposed to get a room with a Queen bed, but I got a room with a Twin one. The room was TINY (even for NY standards). There were no curtains on the window, so the street lights shined in all night. The hotel did not provide basics like shampoo and conditioner. All of the metal finishes in the shower were rusty. This place is not worth what I paid for.
