Very convenient with the metro right across the street. One block to the nearest groceries and wine. Surrounded by cafes and eateries. The Plaza Republique has a multitude of peoples but never felt unsafe. People walking and traveling via wheeled transport at all times of the day and night. Don’t speak French very well but never felt unwelcome or rudeness the entire time during my visit. Very content

Location is great, right next to subway train. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good. Bar service was also good. It’s a huge nice building with beautiful outdoor corridor, but the property / room carpets are tiny bit old. Overall we enjoyed the stay here!

The location is good with great access to a metro station. The rest is not worth it the price. We stayed in the fourth floor and was very smelly, like sewer. The room nothing special, and the bathroom clean but very small and in clear need of renovation. In summary I think you can find something better for that price!!!

Due to the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, I would like to request a refund. The electricity did not work in our room and we spent hours working with an electrician rather than being provided a baseline experience in another room either at the existing hotel or at a sister hotel. The night manager was rude and disrespectful. He did not have a solution orientated mindset and made us feel like the electricity was our issue.
