    Great place for Baxter Arena events

    We stayed here for a late concert at Baxter Arena. Aloft is only a couple blocks away from the Arena, a very easy walk. The room was modern and clean, we would stay here again.

    Check in front desk and evening front desk workers are extremely rude and unhelpful. The manager is very pleasant, very nice. The breakfast was not worth the price upgrade. It should be included with the stay.

    Everything Was Great Except…

    We rented the hotel for a quick 3-days Valentine’s getaway on the weekend. Room was very nice, modern and is tailored towards travelers to feel comfortable and pleasant during their trips! However, their housekeeping service wasn’t up to standards. Shortly after arriving to our room, we discovered that our blanket was covered in tiny strands of disgusting hair. Front desk had brought us some very thinned king sized blankets and told us to keep the blanket somewhere in the room. Front desk staff also mentioned they would talk it through with housekeeping manager, but during our stay nothing was done in terms of replacing the blanket for another one. Housekeeping doesn’t come in to clean and empty the trash, they were only seen cleaning the hallway outside of our room (and looks like the other rooms), not even a visit to come in and take our original blanket away. In other hotels - a far cheaper option - would have housekeeping clean and make our beds once we were out. As far as services goes, this was a very poor experience. The appearance looks welcoming, however the service was done very poorly. For a 3 star hotel, housekeeping services needs more work before I would recommend this to friends and family.
