Disappointed
The room I was in was dated and had some damage to the wall. You could tell they are working on refurbishing the hotels certain floors have been redone and are labeled as, “luxury”. Based on the price, I would expect better materials and the rooms to be in better condition. Overall, it worked for my solo trip to Dublin. The bed was comfortable.

Sink were too low!
We like the hotel and location. I was just disappointed that we got a room for handicap person! None of us needed it. The sink in the bathroom were too low!

Not the best experience
The hotel is situation in a quiet section of Dublin, far from the industrial noises. You can simply walk 20 minutes to reach downtown or you can wait and catch the Luas tram that takes you directly to places where you wanna be in the city center. My experience at the Hilton Dublin was meh, upon my arrival I was greeted kindly from the front desk and had to wait in the lobby for my room to be ready, (mind you I just flew in from NY), to get a room available right away they wanted € 25.00. So I decided to wait in the lobby for over an hour for my room to be available. Although they did have one ready or they would have never asked for the € 25.00. The elevators won’t get you to your floor unless yoga insert your room key. The fourth floor where aisles had several mold spots on the ceiling covered not so well. My room was humid and dry and I got sick the morning after and requested for a different. Same problem, dry and humid room. Ac not very functional. I wouldn’t stay here again, for the price I paid and for the hotel to be in certain conditions. Not worth it. Going back to the Radisson Blu Royal

Bad hotel
Didn't like this hotel at all and cannot recommend. We were staying with a dog which constrained our choices but the room was very poor. There was loud noise all through the night. Shower in the bath with plastic curtain, old tiles and generally shabby feel. Breakfast buffet looked okay but the ingredients seemed bad quality. 10 minutes after eating the breakfast my pregnant wife started vomiting and continued for the whole day. Airconditioning was disabled in the room so it was very hot too. Just an unpleasant experience and we couldn't wait to leave.

Noisy with poor food and unreceptive staff.
Hotel undergoing renovation (I was not alerted prior), so very noisy during the day when a jet-lagged person is trying to sleep. Restaurant food was subpar and there is a 15 EURO charge for room service (and an unwillingness of staff to let you order and take up to your room). Very unsatisfactory.
