Great Stay in Independence
This is a very nice hotel. It is quiet, around food and the bed is so relaxing. This is the best price and best stay I've had in Independence, MO. Exceptional place and the breakfast is decent. Everything is clean and peaceful.

The hotel was really nice and looks like it was recently updated as everything was new and clean. Just a few complaints. The bed was good but the pillows were a bit soft and we realize, this is a matter of choice. The biggest concern we had was the heating/AC unit continually ran and was very noisy all night long. The breakfast in the morning was fine, and we realize due to COVID, we weren't allowed to get our own coffee. Overall, we would stay again.

I was happy with the overall experience. My only negative is the breakfast. I realize that is because of the covid situation, but I am diabetic and basically everything they had was loaded with sugar.

Perfect situation for dog with human. Clean, convenient, comfortable. New looking tile floors, pet rooms located first floor near exit to grassy dog walking area with garbage can and bags, if needed. Friendly, helpful check in. Def recommend this location. Easy access to interstate.

Five Stars Plus!!
5 PLUS Stars! We chose this hotel while traveling and were expecting the normal mediocre or even below average hotel experience, but WOW! We walked in the front door and were amazed at how sparkling clean and wonderfully smelling it was. The lobby floors and hallways were literally shining and our room looked like we were the first to ever stay in it, the bed linens, tub, toilet...everything was spotless!! My wife took a long hot bath (usually never done in questionable hotel tubs) and we both had an amazing nights sleep before another long travel day. We will definitely schedule our future cross country travel stop around this Independence Best Western! The manager at this hotel deserves huge praise for maintaining such outstanding hotel accommodations and we will be contacting Best Western higher ups to make sure they get the Thanks they deserve! In a time when it seems everyone does just enough to “get by”, this hotel obviously went above and beyond for their guests and it was greatly appreciated!! Thank you Independence, MO Best Western employees!!
