The only thing I would add is to have water bottles in the room.

Great hotel

The staff was great, the hotel was convenient to the convention center. The parking garage which I don't think the hotel owns was disgusting. If you're driving it's something to consider. The train rooms were fun.

It is great how the Crowne Plaze Downtown Indianapolis has converted some old Pullman carriage into sleeper at this railway station hotel. Unique. Staff were very helpful, too.

I booked through hotels.com and paid for it upfront. Somehow the hotel took out each night stay again out of my bank account. I should’ve received eight free breakfast as I did not get them. Like I said money was taken out twice for the hotel had to get that fixed

We enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza Downtown Indianapolis in the historic Union Station. If you can, book a Pullman train car room, fun experience. Plenty of eating establishments within walking distance. Would book again if we travel to Indianapolis in the future.

The service was great. The food was good. The room was not clean when we went in. I took some photos. My fiancé thought it was blood on the white piece of the wall. I then found the same markings on the baseboard. It’s a rust or red color. I don’t know if it was blood or not. Service and staff was friendly and nice. The train was amazing and everything looked beautiful. It was just unappealing with the small things that were found on the wall.

The last day of our stay, I was awoken by someone trying to get into my train car hotel room. They didnt get into my room however, my 29 year old son was also staying in a different room in the same train car and the man proceeded to make his way into my sons room. The man was homeless and actually made his way to my sons bed. Thankfully the situation ended with my son informing him that he isn’t supposed to be in the room. Reported this to the front desk, apparently it’s happened before. Police were called and the man was found just feet away sitting inside the convention center smoking a cigarette. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Upon arrival valet and staff were pleasant. Room was not as expected, we chose the room because it was listed as queen beds. They were the smallest queen beds ever. I questioned the front desk and he assured me they were queens. We also asked to move as we were there for surgery the next day and we were told that we had a premium room with queens and that was all that was available. I’m not sure what was premium about our room. Furniture and carpets need updated and bed was extra firm! To make the stay better the trains came through and it felt like it was coming through the room. We didn’t use the amenities or eat at the restaurant, so can’t comment on that. Won’t stay there again.
