I’ve stayed at Aloft hotels before, and this one just seemed like a copy/paste of the model but nothing stood out as special and customer service was basic. The outdoor fire pit didn’t work, the bar was completely shut down, and no breakfast. Bed was comfortable and TV was big, but room was small. I wouldn’t stay again.

After checking into the hotel I found a pair of scissors, socks and automotive part in the drawer of a dressor. The room had not been cleaned properly and was not stocked with coffee or sugar. This was a 2 night stay. I had requested my room to be cleaned on three different occasions on my second day. After every requet the receptionist reassured me that it wll be done. At 1130pm I arrived to my room and it had not been made or restocked. The receptionist on the phone asked me to go down and pick up towels shampoo and body wash. They didnt even have the courtesy to bring it to my room. In the morning I realized there was no coffee as the prior day the room supplies had been used and not restocked. Again I had to fo down and pick it up the supplies as they would not offer to bring it upstairs.

I’m a light sleeper and asked if they could put me in a room that did not face the freeway. They were able to accommodate my request as the capacity of the hotel was not high when I stayed. It was great. I had no problem with freeway noise.

Navigating overnight stay during Covid.
This was the first hotel stay for us since covid. It was fine, seemed like a lower level Marriott. Not terribly impressive. But it was clean, the staff were great and the location was convenient.
