Underwhelming
Nice gardens and main building, the rooms are of a very poor standard certainly not up to the level of the rest of the place. Outdated furniture and fittings, a lot of dust and cobwebs.

We had a pleasant 1 night stay and our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was quite good though the mattress was very soft. The bathroom was Ok and a good shower though it was over the bath and we are elderly and have a little trouble getting into the bath ! The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Our meal in the restaurant was lovely.
