One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! While it is a self check in there is always a host to still help with your needs. Using PIN code (or getting an actual card) was different and convenient. Amenities are not in room but the communal area was fully accessible from fridge, microwave, coffee or even cook if you’d like! The room had no TV which forced us to get out of our room and actually played a board game that I now need to buy 😂. Out of my 5 hotels in Switzerland, they had the best pillows and bed. It was also very conveniently located in old town between station and shops. If they are all like this, I’d 1000% stay in one again.

Easy online check-in with very helpful staff providing recommendations on what to do in Bern. Stay Kooook Bern was conveniently located within the city with access to public transportation (free pass provided) while still easily walkable. Great location. Fantastic staff. Useful amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our favorite hotel during our Switzerland vacation. The rooms were excellent and the community room was a really nice addition to the experience. The hostesses were very helpful as well.

We stayed @ Kooook Bern City for 2 nights. What a treat! The location was excellent, within a 5-6 minute walk from the train station. The online app with access to the hotel, room and baggage area worked seamless. The hotel has a real "community" feeling with the spacious living room, games room, and kitchen area. The staff encouraged you to "use the space like your home". There was complimentary water, coffee and tea which is hard to find in Switzerland for no charge! They had a rooftop terrace with lots of comfortable tables and chairs. You can bring your own beverages up there to enjoy the spectacular views and sunsets. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, especially Mattias and Michelle. They went out of their way to make sure your stay was enjoyable!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

A wonderful combination of private room and a welcoming and well-equipped common area. We can't say enough good things about our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant Luce downstairs is a must try.

Great location and staff. Just not used to getting key to building/room online. But, staff ended up helping with that too. Nice coffee machine!!!

No staff at all hence 1*. Lovely clean and modern very central and perfect stopover. Would be much better if had a proper luggage room with strong digital lockers to leave what you want - only cables and padlocks so useless really - and some form of essentials shop. One irritation is that all but one power socket is integrated with a light switch which pushes adaptors back out making them unusable.

Great stay here, excellent location close walking distance to train station, restaurants and the sights. Room was small but well thought out and had everything needed. The common area was great and the staff were really superb. We were not sure how this would be being a reception-less hotel however everything was really easy and the staff station themselves in the common area should you need anything at all. Would highly recommend!!

Room was clean and as advertised. AC was great and a relief from the heat while we visited! Convenient location in proximity to the train and tons of food options around. Short walk to grocery as well. Communal space for group dinners, heating up food, well stocked communal kitchen and amenities for coffee, tea and water in the common space was great. On site contact was very helpful with suggestions for exploring and anything that was needed.

This was a wonderful property, with great staff in an exceptional location. It would be helpful if the property access was with a keys that could be stored in a digital wallet instead of having to re-login rigidly regularly to a website. But all in all, a fantastic place to stay - which I would look forward to revisiting!

A different kind of hotel - all accessed with a key card, even the front doors. No real reception - rather a living room with plenty of seating, a table, coffee/tea and a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave etc. a room was small but well appointed. Very helpful staff. We enjoyed it!

What a cool, European place. Easy (less than 10 min) walk from the train station. Perfect location that is quiet yet close to lots of restaurants. Easy automated check in process so we didn't have any contact with anyone during our stay. Phone was used to open all the doors in the property. Very clean, comfy beds with excellent towels/linens/pillows. A/C worked well. Good WiFi. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to spend a couple of nights. Bern and the area is very neat.
