Nice, but perched on a hill
Decent room with nice modern deco. However first 2 days housekeeping failed to restock the body wash, and when we called they said we had to go to reception to collect it. Next few days they restocked when they did housekeeping. Room is cosy and has a nice little balcony area. Also has a small pool and a jacuzzi. Location is on Spring Hill, and on the quiet side. It is next to Roma Street station, and near to Queen Street Mall. However it is on a hill, hence keep in mind lots of up and down hill walking. Not good if you have lots of luggage as you would need to climb a flight of stairs from the station, or go the long way uphill. Lobby has a perpetual overpowering smell. Overall a decent place to stay.

Tired and frayed around the edges
Hotel is located in a great spot overlooking parklands and the town centre which is literally a short stroll away. The Urban by their own admission has the worst underground car park in Queensland if not Australia it is a minefield of concrete pillars and extremely tight turns you should approach with extreme caution. The use of concrete rendering inside and out is testament to the ageing character of the Hotel. Our room had a concrete rendered ceiling with furniture and fittings that left it looking somewhat tired and frayed around the edges. The in-room directory was also annoyingly wrong or out of date as it stated (see pic) that Guest Lobby Services on the ground floor included the use of two PC's and a printer, great I thought as I needed to print some Comms Games Tickets that we had come to Brisbane to see, on enquiring at reception as they were nowhere to be seen I was told by a puzzled looking receptionist that these were only available in the Business Centre for corporate clients?? She had no knowledge or had not read the in room directory. Overall reasonable stay but not quite living up to the spin.

Good night's rest.
Mostly amazing! Very comfy, a small bathroom though. The only thing that was of concern and perhaps only because it was midnight when I arrived is the hallway had a bit of trash in it. Other than that, it was clean and comfy. Staff friendly and courteous, Celeste was very sweet!

Too dusty
The place was ok but too much dust under the bed OMG. My family was sick after the one night there. Price was good for budget conscious people
