Was dissapointed to see lots of dogs being able to stay in the rooms put us off staying again as i have allergies and heard a lady saying the dog had taken up most of the bed i fimd it horrid dogs sleeping in hotel beds unless there in allocated rooms

Fabulous weekend stay. Definately recommend.
Friendly reception staff - nothing too much trouble. Waiting staff and room service very good no faults. Visiting with my 11 year old grandaughter who enjoyed every minute. We used the pool everyday and had breakfast one morning (bit pricey but nice food and plenty choice). We stayed in the annexe but it is quite a walk from main hotel - would stay in main hotel in future. I would definately recommend staying here for good location to York attractions, comfortable stay and next door to the railway station.
