Bathroom was dirty upon arrival--you could see where the last guest laid his toothbrush on the sink. Two big holes in the wall were patched by an amateur with patch material running down the wall. Outside lights didn't work and parking lot was dark. Room was old and needs updating.

Liked the way the staff had the dining/foyer are decorated - very cozy. Facility is old and sound transmits - we were moved from bottom to top floor because bottom floor was getting noise from stairwells and hallways above. A/C unit was noisy - had to remove cover to wedge paper in areas to dampen vibrations - it was filthy inside - as was the bathroom vent. Last night was a nightmare - a group checked in and proceeded to turn up the boom box as we were settling in to bed. Night manager had to talk to them 3 times before calling the police to finally quiet them down. The folks were not US citizens and stated that they didn't care about anyone else. Second time in last 4 months that we ran into this type situation with non-citizens creating disturbances at hotels and reacting with belligerence to attempts to quiet them down for other guests.

You couldn't drink the water, or bath in it, or even make coffee. Office smelled like pot. Yes it's legal but it stinks. There was car noise outside for a long time. I had to pay $123 dollars for an unpleasant stay. Not only that , when I had called 4 days before the girl at the desk told me the room was paid for,

Overall, hotel is in a good location. Front desk staff was curt and somewhat unpleasant. Rooms were clean, however bathrooms are not designed for anyone of height. Would consider staying again for short visit to see son in college.l, if nothing else was available.
