Kyoto Brighton Hotel.
This is a very nice hotel & is more suited for business travel. Food can be pricey in the hotel. You can have more cheaper options if you go to JR Kyoto station vicinity. Service is good here

Great rooms and bathtub with salts...
The hotel is fantastic! The only thing I missed was a pool. Not having a pool is not common in this kind of hotels, and after a hot day I would like to swim. We change for a bathtub and was wonderful too.

Overall pleased
Very clean hotel. Able to sleep a family of 4 in 4 beds comfortably. Only weakness was the Conciere service was not as proficient in English as I expected. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro, but I was fine with that as I knew that in advance. I recommend this Hotel and would stay there again.

Ok for a 1 night stay
I only stayed in this hotel for 1 night so I wasn’t looking for much in terms of amenities. The hotel is very standard. The beds are stiffer than what I typical expect from international hotels. Furniture is minimalist.
