Over hyped and very disappointing
I stayed a whole week for business. In the week I ate only once in the hotel - the $15 breakfast that they ‘graciously’ give to residents on weekends. I have never had such a horrible breakfast - there was no variety, sausages, bacon and watery scrambled eggs and soggy potatoes, accompanied by stale danishes and bagels which you had to request to get toasted. - I would have been better off getting a local croissant and coffee from Starbucks! For a large hotel to also not provide a laundry service was also unheard of. I was given an address of contact number for someone???!!! The hotel may ‘look’ ok in the rooms but I didn’t like the black walled corridors and pretentious ‘Deco’ styling. Made me feel like I was walking through a cave. Ok for a night or two but you would be better off going to a Marriot or larger chain. I generally like boutique hotels but this was boutique in nothing but name and throughly disappointing. Location is ok - a five min walk to old town, valet parking good, the rooms large - but no housekeeping if you are staying a weekend - even if you put a label on the door! I had to phone reception to get fresh towels. Thankfully I won’t be visiting Omaha again anytime soon!
