NOt a great design.
Check in always goes well. I was in Room 810 this time. Lots of noise on the street so I found it difficult to sleep, need to remember the earplugs. Bathroom: handicap bathroom so useful for someone in a wheelchair. There is also an attached wall chair however, the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are on the wall opposite the seat and probably too high for the person in the wheelchair to reach. Let alone the person using the wall chair to have to get up and use the stuff. If you are handicapped, the last thing you want to go find are the towels. THEY ARE IN THE DAMN CLOSET. WHAT THE HECK!!!!! I am abled body person and had to go find the stupid towels. I had to ask the woman cleaning the room top put my towels in the bathroom.

Not the Best, But Still Good
Hotel staff were very friendly. Building and rooms are older and a bit worn-looking, but the accommodations were more than adequate for our needs and the location was fantastic for sightseeing. The elevators were tiny and one of them was broken for the last three days of our stay, so we sometimes had to wait to get to and from our 8th floor room. Overall a decent place to stay in a very convenient location in midtown.

New York vacation
The location was convient, we walked everywhere. Used Uber if we went to far. We took in a Broadway show and spent time shopping around Times Square. Lots of eatery and entertainment close by. We used our own white sound machine so it was comfortable at night with no street noise.

A classic hotel in a perfect location! It's an older hotel but rooms were comfortable & clean. Right off the action of Times Square & Broadway. Close to the subway as well. Felt very safe in & around the hotel as well.
