Anniversary Staycation
Great customer service, cool room, and I felt really safe with all of their COVID precautions. I would definitely stay there again. Parking is at another hotel but was a steal at $30.

Good Place but ask about parking location
Great little hotel with lots of fun design details. Quiet, clean and safe location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was the only bummer as the directions are not very clear and you have to walk a few blocks, only to figure out that you are parking at another hotel, The Westin, in Union Square. The Emblem Hotel could have been a bit more clear on this as this was not stated on the little map they give you. Had to call from outside The Westin to confirm and it was nighttime and a bit of traffic on that street. Overall though, it was a pleasant one night stay.

Moody vibe at a very cute Hotel
I love the whole vibe of this hotel!!!!! The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and the room details were cute. The manager was also very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We did have to park off site at another hotels valet and walk back, but we didn’t mind. It was $40 a night for oversized parking our truck there.

Great Hotel
One of the best hotels we have stayed at in San Francisco. First time in a Boutique Hotel and we were not let down. All the attention to details and the level of customer services exceeded what we expected. The outside looks like a normal building, but on the inside completely looks amazing. We will definitely be back, a recommended hotel for sure. FYI, parking is off site and a little bit of a walk, but not a deal breaker at all. I had to walk two blocks but wasn’t a big deal since the hotel and the service was great. Take advantage of all the little extras they provide, you’ll enjoy it.

Good 6.0
The hotel itself is very charming. Location was on the edge of the good part and the badder part but we felt safe and did not see many homeless people around. I would stay here again post covid. I know we are dealing with things as they go but charging an amenities fee with coffee being the only available one of the ones listed on website (the gym, pool, sports facilities) is ridiculous! When I questioned I was smartly told there was still a list of available amenities. The list included a type writer, bath bomb, and random of things. These are not amenities I want to pay for! I realized the gyms would most likely be shut down even though I did see some outdoor ones still operating so I felt the fee should of been dropped. We paid $29 for 4 Nespresso (and had to ask for 2 of them)

Hotel Emblem (formerly the Hotel Rex) is a great, remodeled boutique hotel in the heart of Union Square. It kept the former Rex' literary theme but modernized it. So you have homage to the Beats but in a modern setting. The staff is amazing, always friendly and helpful. The rooms are terrific. I can't recommend the hotel enough when you visit SF. Close to everything.

Staff was super friendly. We spoke with them on checking in early and checking out later and they were quick to accommodate. I honestly loved this hotel. They were also really clean and organized. I would definitely stay here again

Exceptional 10.0
The lobby and rooms are beautiful, great aesthetic. Need was comfy, and the espresso machine was a nice touch. Full size soap and lotion. So luxurious. Water dispenser at the end of the hall was awesome! No more running to the store for plastic bottles. Room was drafty because it had old windows, bathroom was vented, but no fan, so it fogged up. Just wish the hotel upgraded these when they renovated. Overall, still very satisfied, and would stay again.

Great Honeymoon Weekend
My wife and spent our wedding weekend here. This hotel had a lot of character and we're looking forward to coming back for our anniversary. Hopefully, then the coffee shop and bar will be open. We also loved how close everything was. We walked everywhere like Starbucks, Pier 39, China Town, 7-eleven for those late night ice cream runs, and all our fine dining reservations, without any problems.
