Banff Ptarmigan Inn

The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. We had underground parking. The breakfast that was included was lovely, fast service and many options, tale out, take away or sit in.

We had an excellent stay at Ptarmigan Inn. Very clean room and very comfortable beds. Supper close to the downtown Banff and the free heated parking lot. Hot breakfast is free which was excellent and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Awesome experience.

Great hotel, excellent location. The room was very nice but could have used a bit more lighting. I found it a bit on the dim side.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Our king size room with stone fireplace was very nice and roomy. Check in was quick and onsite parking in the underground parkade was a bonus we did not expect, although I hear it does fill up. The breakfast sandwich was fantastic and came with hash browns .. Also included with the room. Another perk. The location is perfect and was walk king distance to all of the restaurants and pubs. I would book here again

Good location. Free parking and breakfast are nice. Rooms are nice too. Gave it a major ding because there was no room service. I don't know if they just forgot about us or this is standard. Finding someone at a front desk can be a challenge. For a price its a good hotel but service is literally non existent.

When we arrived we found the hotel elevators only one worked and when called you would be waiting ten minutes before the elevator arrived. The hotel does not have any parking that is suitable for any truck or suv. The thermostat did nothing to help control the heat in the room and it was uncomfortably too hot. Unlike most hotels it had base board heating with no ventalation. When we first arrived none of the lights worked in our room. The strip above the bed still did not work. The hot water was hit and miss and resulted in being hit with freezing water making showering a chore. The coffee maker in the hotel room did not work and i suspect i will still be charged. The hotel gave me a recipt for 205 although my credit card was charged for 280. Over all the hotel may be in a convenient location but not worth the headache.

I'm just a little disappointed with the room bed it's not that clean and the bedding is not that fix. I can say that our stay was just ok.

Beautiful place, great location and free breakfast that was good to boot. Always a great choice in Banff

Comfy rooms and beds. The in-room temperature control actually works here (which is always nice!). Breakfast was included which we also really enjoyed. Convenient location. Quiet. Overall great!

Staff was very accommodating. excellent value. A very good location!
