Lakeshore Inn - Lake Oswego
Our 12 year old son and I (Mom) stayed at this hotel while he attended the Nike Basketball Camp at the Lewis & Clark Campus and we both loved our stay! Our only regret was not having more personal time to explore the quaint little town-like surroundings. The hotel is beautifully kept with ground keeping and housekeeping as well. Our room was cleaned wonderfully each day. We strongly recommend this hotel, especially if you want a romantic get away from the kiddos.

We were in town for a quick overnight after attending a funeral service. The room was facing the parking lot, handicap modified, next to ice and pop machine AND the housekeeping closet. We were told that it was all that was available through and that we should book direct next time.

Great view, charming town
Great location overlooing the lake. Close to shops, and running and walking routes. My only complaint is the strongly scented sheets and towels. I would prefer that the hotel use unscented laundry detergent.

Lakeshore Inn
This was the second time we’ve stayed here. It’s not an exotic hotel but you can request a room with a fairly private balcony facing onto the small lake, which is very pretty and peaceful. There are resident blue herons and ducks on the lake edge. Lots of small stores within walking distance. Starbucks across the street. An ice cream shop that serves breakfast. Very clean and lots of water pressure and warm water in the shower!

Less than desireable
Property is very dated and loud. Walls are thin and you can hear people talking and walking around above you. Rooms had a distinct smell that was undesirable. No special amenities (even plugs to plug in a phone were at a premium). We booked well in advance and had 2 rooms for 3 nights and yet were put in 2 of the few rooms that don't overlook the lake which is the one nice feature of the property. Cookies, breakfast items and coffee were a nice touch.
