The hotel is very dated and the room we had was very small. They had a decent drinks happy hour. The location is ace for public transport and also ferry. Overall, for $800 for the two nights, I did not feel it was worth it for the room, as it’s dated and small.

This hotel is in a good location close to the Rocks and Circular Quay but it is very dated and tired looking inside. Rooms are small, showers have plastic curtains and baths are small. Grouting needs addressing. The main reception area is huge but the restaurant is small and both lack any ambience.

Fantastic location. We had a harbor view room and could see both the Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. The common area was several stories high. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The rooms themselves were standard and ho-hum, but this building is over 100 years old. The rooms were updated, clean and adequate. I would recommend this hotel for the fantastic location. So close and convenient to everything you could want... transportation, tours, shopping. Well worth it.

Very good hotel. Great location, good city view and clean. Nice heated pool with view of opera house. Not new but well kept. I had to ask for my $25 room credit and remind the lady at check out about it. I ordered the teramisu but was given a cookie with whip cream and cinnamon for $16.
