Unfortunately the ceiling was leaking into the apartment during our stay, onto the bed and also into the bathroom, given the partitioning wall. We were told that this issue had also happened prior to our stay. After the first failed attempt to rectify the issue, we were moved to an alternative location for the final 2 nights of our 4-night stay. The host denied our request to refund the 2 nights with the issue, despite us having to mop up used water from the above apartments bathroom/sink, and the mould and bugs present in our room as a result. They justified this by saying we’d moved to an upgraded apartment, despite no longer having an outside terrace as we’d originally booked. Regardless, whilst we recognise that issues can happen, we should not bear the cost of our stay whilst we endured them.
