We were not told when making the reservation that there was no alcohol allowed in the rooms, this is unusual, especially for Arizona. We asked twice and checked once trying to make a reservation at the steak house which was the main reason we stayed there, due to the close proximity of our rooms. The staff told us the restaurant had no reservation availability all evening, yet we walked over to the steak house restaurant 2 x and the first time the restaurant was empty, and we tried to make a reservation again, and was told no reservations available. We checked 2 more times, once there were two tables occupied, and the rest of the tables were unoccupied. It is puzzling that they don't accept reservations at a restaurant which is basically empty all night. If they are reserving their restaurants for a specific population (high rollers), then they should advice the general public prior to making reservations, so they are aware the steak house restaurant is unavailable to the general public.

Disappointed
My Family and I travel to Tucson from Phoenix at least once a month to spend time with my Mom. This was our 1st time at Casino del Sol. By I entered in by the Casino & I tried to ask an employee for directions to Front Desj but he was on his cell phone & literally "Shooed" me away. I was in the wrong Building. Found the right Building & We couldnt wait to get into the pool. Front desk tells me that ill need Wrist Band to enter the pool area & Each person staying in my room, children included must come down to the front desk for a wrist band in person. My Mom was on her way to hang out but they No Longer allow family/friends to come visit with u. We only chose this hotel because of the Water Slide for the kids.The room was dirty. The rugs were sticky, refrigerator was filthy & didnt work. Our drinks were still warm the next day. No personal drinks/snacks at the pool. You have to buy from them. The room was very small and definitely not worth the cost. I had my Service Animal with me. Front desk tried to Hassel me about him but there was nothing they could do. Mobys restaurant was good but we tried eating at the Buffet on Day 2 and they wouldn't let us in. There were 10 of us and it was only 6:30pm & they said they were closing at 7pm. That was ridiculous. The rooms are too expensive compared to other hotels in the area. The employees out by the pool were very nice but i doubt ill ever stay there again. Too much Hassel for a Shabby Room & No Visitors allowed. Very disappointing
