Would definitely come again.
The young woman that works the desk in the morning is amazing, and I feel ashamed that I never asked her her name. She had great tips and recommendations that were spot on, and she was always very pleasant. The ladies that work in housekeeping and the kitchen are the backbone of the establishment and I commend them for their excellent service and attitudes.

Located close to downtown Samana and also the central port. Places to eat were easily in walking distance. Wifi was generally good. Staff was very helpful. At time of my visit, Nilka only able to accept cash payment which was a minor inconvenience. There are banks nearby, including one right next door, so able to make necessary arrangements. Room and amenities comfortable. The bar/food items in the fridge were a bit old/stale and could benefit from replacement. Italian restaurant shares a common food area after breakfast. I had dinner there one afternoon that was excellent!

We stayed in Samana to go Humpback whale watching with Whale Samana. (That’s the group to go with but that’s another review) This hotel is 4or 5 blocks from there so very walkable. This small hotel is definitely the nicest in town. Clean. Rooms well appointed. Staff friendly and attentive. Good homemade breakfast included. The hotel restaurant is also excellent. The pasta, bread, desserts etc all made at the hotel so fresh and delicious. One of the best meals we ate in the DR. They have a secure parking lot where we parked our car. Do need to remember to pay hotel cash but restaurant takes credit cards.

Little Gem in Samana
This little hotel in Samana was quite European in flavour. The room was well equipped ( iron, hair dryer, ironing board, mini bar, desk, etc. Bed was very comfortable...all you could wish for at an excellent price. The breakfast, which was included, was varied and tasty. The dining room, operated by an Italian couple, opened at 7 p.m. for dinner. We had been out wandering around, so when we returned we had coffee and dessert - homemade tiramisu - fantastic. Highly recommend this boutique hotel for sany stay in Samana.
