Rodeway Inn Near Mt. Rushmore Memorial

For the location not a bad place the room was small but works for 1-2 people max with one bed. Bed was really stiff so my back started to ache after a certain period of time. Please, get new towels the ones in the room were heavily worn and grey in color. Other than those two things not bad for a quick visit.

Terrible bed, cupped in the middle, light bulb out in bathroom, hair dryer did not work. It was clean and check in was easy and efficient.

The towels had an unclean odor and looked off-white instead of just white. The ice machine was not working and looked like it had been out of service for awhile. The overall feeling was of a not-very-clean property.

I booked this from travelocity based on a search for a place that offers a pool and free breakfast for our 2 night stay. Needless to say, the kids were disappointed that the pool was closed season and there was no free breakfast. The toilet ran our entire stay which was annoying.

We booked the hotel because it was advertised as having a pool and breakfast. It had neither. We booked this hotel in the middle of several camping nights. I had hoped to shower, but the bathroom was very dirty. I felt it necessary to wipe everything down with sanitizer that seemed high touch. We also brought in our own blankets to sleep on.

Hotel with good value for money for the budget conscious traveler.

I stayed in this same hotel last year and had a good experience. I do believe they are under new management this year and it sucked. They advertised a pool and breakfast. The pool was closed because they didn't want to have to sanitize everything in there throughout the day. There was no breakfast only coffee. The ice machine was broken. We were told we could go get ice from another hotel down the street. I booked 2 rooms. One the lock didn't work at all we had to go get a dead bolt key, and the other the lock only worked when you slammed the door 3 times.

This hotel barely provided the minimum services to us. The indoor pool area was closed and looked like a construction zone. The ice machine did not work. There was no continental breakfast provided. Other places we have stayed on our road trip have found a way to have the pool open and provide continental breakfast. The room we were assigned to was right next to a room frequented by hotel staff. The walls are paper thin and the staff was noisy in that room late and early in the morning (after 10:00pm and at 6:45am).

The hotel had no ice machine, no breakfast, the hot tub and pool don’t work! No garden, or picnic area! The description of this hotel is a completely false! We were so disappointed upon arrival!

The hotel is close to where we wanted to go and thats about it.The hotel advertised free breakfast but did not have any. No ice. Torn carpet potentially can cause accidents.
