Dirty and no microwave
Very dirty room, hot tub had brown rim around the bubbles, smoking on patio, no microwave, bathrooms dated and dirty looking. All carpet looks like it needs cleaning or replacement. Basically, if this place didn't have an amazing view and super friendly staff it would rate a 1-2 star hotel normally. Every hotel we've stayed at during COVid has seemed exceptionally cleaner than normal. This place was quite the opposite.

Great place to relax in Breckenridge
This is the second time that we've stayed at the Lodge at Breckenridge. Once again, every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the snow as we sat in front of the fireplace in our room. The mountain view was incredible! There is a restaurant on site, so no need to leave for dinner if you don't want to. This is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Poor 2.0
issues unresolved
I purposely waited to write a review, because I was waiting for the manager “Rhonda” to call me back concerning some issues I had with the room. First off, we had to wait 4-5 minutes for the water to become hot in the shower. I called the front desk to report it, was told a service man would be up in awhile...never showed up. The tv channels would be interrupted by a signal message, code 225. Repeatedly 5 times in a row, making it difficult to watch tv with such interruptions. Then on our second nights stay, about 10:30pm the ceiling fan light came on on its own. We were sound asleep, the light lit the room, startling my wife and I! Now I reported this to the front desk clerk who said Rhonda would be in the next day. I called, asked to speak with her only to get a voicemail. I left a message for her to return my call, 2 days, and no call back. Now I have ptsd from being overseas in the military, that light coming on and startling us the way it did, set me off! It was difficult for me to return to sleep. My mind was racing on what could have turned it on. Very disappointed that the manager cannot return calls! But more so, that she didn’t call me before I left her message. Knowing that a guest had some issues. I will not go back there! And Rhonda needs to learn what “customer service” really means!

Love it!!
It was amazing! The hotel clerk, Crystal, was so helpful, patient, kind, and just went out of her way to help us. We loved it so much we extended our stay. You can tell the hotel is slightly older but in good condition and the location and value is hard to beat. The only thing was that it got a little warm for us and there isn’t any a/c just heater but we fixed that by opening a window and they have a fan in the room which we didn’t even need after we opened the window. Definitely worth it!!

Full of Character
Very high levels of customer service - text checks from the front desk to make sure everything was satisfactory. Hotel has a lot of character and is comfortable. The rooms are on the smaller side and the hotel has some age on it, but it's clean and very attentive staff. The lodge is located on a hill above Breckenridge which kept noise down. It was a busy weekend and I can only imagine how noisy it was on the main street or nearby.

Good 6.0
Neighbors ruined our trip
To start off I would like to say that the scenery was breathtaking. Few things. First off if you go to town in a Uber/lyft to get a ride back is nearly impossible. Second the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors in room 105 were up to 4 am fighting and arguing and slamming things than the male went outside and sat in his car with his music and bass all the way up keeping us awake. Third the “bar” at the property the bartender was extremely short and rude. So bring your own alcohol and sit on the balcony. Really looked forward to this trip and may not return to this property.

Beautiful location
The view from our balcony alone made this booking worthwhile. The staff was all very kind and friendly. Was slightly disappointed that we had to make a reservation for the hot tubs but understand given the current climate the reasoning behind it. The website boasts a deluxe breakfast is included. The offerings were subpar at best and one bite of my muffin and we headed to find breakfast elsewhere. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was a wedding or event going on and while it was loud from our room it ended by 10p and was very peaceful afterwards. Would definitely consider staying here again.
