Perfect location, excellent for families
We really enjoyed our stay at the Grafton. It was myself and my 3 children (2 are young adults) so we had the family room with the bunk beds. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The room set up was great for our family. The location of the hotel couldn't be beat - walking distance to so many things and Grafton st itself is a block away. Lots of good restaurants right there too. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, great location, dodgy bunk beds!
Absolutely lovely hotel and in a fabulous location. Great service, friendly staff, lovely bar. The one downside, and I feel bad bringing it up, is the absolutely awful bunk beds: too high, almost sheer ladders, very narrow metal rungs. I'm 5ft5 and struggled getting off and down the ladder since they were so close to the ceiling and the ladder was sheer and narrow. Anyone smaller (such as a child) would injure themselves if they fell from the near the top of the ladder. I nearly had an accident myself. One of my friends refused to use them at all and after the first night of peril I did the same as him and slept on our respective duvets on the floor (there wasn't enough room to get the mattresses down). This was a family room given to a group of six adults - it needs to be specified that the room is wholly unsuitable for this purpose, but frankly these bunk beds should be replaced before there is an actual accident. This is such a shame as otherwise this would have scored a perfect 10.
