Hotels.com False Adverts Pet Friendly Lodging
I booked thru with Hotels.com with confidence knowing my yorkie would be accepted. Nope! We were stopped at the sidewalk, not allowed to step inside to speak with front desk staff. They do NOT allow pets! Even though i saw multiple online ads saying otherwise. I was then told by Hotels.com staff (text option only) that I couldn't get a refund by any means, especially their end. Even though I was told by the front desk motel receptionist that I was eligible for a refund. I had to walk back to the lobby (leaving my pup in the car alone) to file a complaint about a refund. The front desk never had a problem with my reimbursement ...it was Hotels.com. My dog and I had to sleep in my car, thanks to false advertisement & the language barrier due to Hotels.com outsourcing...

Eh
It has a ran down feeling to the overall building, but that’s not bad. The young man in the front office was professional and a nice young man. A set of towels in the bathroom was dirty. Someone’s hair was in it, it was just me, so I used the other set. What did me in as it got later, these little roaches started appearing. Mostly in the bathroom, it was awful.

Roaches and unclean
We paid extra to check in 1 hour early and while the room initially looked clean, we found that it was not. The floor was sticky and our shoes squelched as we walked. Within minutes of arrival we saw a small roach crawling across the floor. Within the hour, we'd seen several roaches of varying sizes. Our options were limited as we didn't have the time to try and get a different room or a refund so we could find another place to stay, let alone actually find a different place to stay, so we tried to make the best of it. It was just a place to crash after all. But then at 2am, while we were sound asleep, our smoke detector went off. We left the room to find that ours was the only one going off. We returned to the room because there was no smoke/fire of course. As the alarm stopped sounding, we watched as a roach crawled out of the smoke detector. Don't know for sure that he set it off, but either way, we ended up waking up early the next morning and booking it out of there. When we told the front desk person about what had happened, we received no feedback from him - he basically said "oh" and left it at that. Overall, disappointing stay but we really were there just to sleep and go. If you can tolerate the roaches for a place to crash, go for it, but otherwise maybe find a different place to stay.

Three day unexpected stay.
Disappointed to find bugs, roaches in room, such as kitchen, bathroom, wall, floors, etc. Great customer service at check in. Just make reservations for two more nights regardless of the bugs, roaches. Suggest exterminator to spray rooms.
