Turn up to hotel only to be told they overbooked no phone call or email to tell me this but they did relocate me to hotel around corner but on my arrival checking into my room the shower room stunk off poo yuck also has ac unit leaking in hall ways overhaul the hotel stunk

The staff was worst I had ever encountered. They yelled at my mom and I for over 45mins. The girl with curly black hair was swearing at me. She threatened me and my family. I asked to speak with manager and was refused. I have never seen such terrible customer service my whole life and would not recommend this place to any of the Expedia members. Worst experience ever

Our 1st room's window wouldnt open. We asked the maintenance worker who couldn't open it, and said he would go tell someone at the desk and have someone come down, but noone arrived. The next day after we asked about it, they told us they had painted the wi doe shut, and was aware it would not open. They did put us in a different room. Said it was on 6th floor, but after searching the 6th, 5th, and finally the 4th floors, we finally located our room on floor #4. The only ice they had for the entire hotel was a small portable icemaker that was on the counter, but they rarely refilled it when it ran out, so asode from the first day, we had no ice at all. Location was good and the staff did work with us on another room.

I was charge 30 L extra per night, my room had three leaks, I had to place the trash cans so the water would drip into them, I asked to get change to a different room, they say they were sold out, so we had to stay. I also asked for the reimbursement of the money which at the time the front desk attendant gave me a card to contact the manager, at this point I have received no response whatsoever. Room I got was 404 right next to the elevator, I could listen to the washing machine all night long, along with the bell ringing of the elevator. The man at the front desk (Indu) will do the talking, when we checked in there were two ladies (I assumed they were British, they did not even say hello.) It seemed as if they were control by this guy, and whomever was behind the wall.

I like the attention of staff. Property very close to amenities. Didn’t like when there was an emergency at the property, Power was out for entire day and hotel manager or owner didn’t compensate in any way. Had to walk up many flights of stairs to get to the 5th floor.

We enjoyed location breakfast was ok but not a lot of choice. Room needs updating. Tv too small For room and room seemed outdated. Bathroom needs makeover. Cracked tiles on floor and shower door didn’t shut. Far away from anything in hotel.. room seemed to be on far end of hotel and stuck out way.

The hotel and room is what you'd expect for budget accommodations. Room was small but that's to be expected in these older buildings. It did have a wardrobe to help with floor space. We stayed in a room that had one full bed on the ground floor. A few pros: the location was good (fairly central to most major attractions, close to Paddington station and three underground lines, a lot of options for food, Hyde Park just down the street). The shower was small but clean and had excellent water pressure. Hot water was scalding...a plus after a long day out in winter. A few cons: the carpet and vinyl flooring in the room were damaged (carpet tearing and the vinyl planks were warping/peeling up on the edges), the bed was not comfortable, we had to ask them to turn on the heat in the room (when it was 40-45F out) and it still never quite got rid of the chill (radiator heat).
