The Sheraton in Ixelles that was here before it became Qbic, was a reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation near my mother-in-law in Brussels. Lack of air-conditioning on 30° day and absence of service does not look as appealing to me and family. Modern look with pretense t
Good for sleep for relaxing small rooms must be bigger
Nice, modern hotel at a very convenient location in Brussels. The location is just off a main street but far enough that it's a bit quieter. There are lots of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The tourist sites in the centre and ULB university are also close by and there are public transport options just around the corner. The rooms are a nice size with TV, hair-dryer, double bed, shower etc. They also come with free water which you can refill which is great. The food in the hotel restaurant is pretty good. My only two quibbles are that breakfast only starts at 8 which isn't great if you have an early start; and that the tokens they give you in exchange for not having your room cleaned can only be used in the bar (would be nice if you could use them in the restaurant).
A very nice and comfortable hotel. We were happy with everything except the lighting in our room - it was much too dark.
It's a building site! If you don't like sleeping then this is the place for you. If you like walking out the hotel to a cloud of builders smoking, this is the place for you!
Lovely hotel with friendly attentive staff
Rampant unprofessionalism. Lack of fridge and poor lighting make for an uncomfortable. Not a hotel for guests accustomed to better customer service.
Brand new hotel, which when complete will be great. However the building works are currently on going. The builders began work at 0730 on the Saturday morning of my stay
Very nice hotel in the area of Louise and Ixelles. The hotel has a very pleasant modern, relaxed, laid back atmophere. It is brand new (just a week when I stayed). The staff is dedicated and ready to serve the client, always with a smile on their face. The decoration is very suggestive, the bar is great, especially for breakfast and after work drinks. The prize was also very convenient, with a great prize&quality ratio. I will return, no question about it, next time I go to Brussels.
We loved this hotel in terms of its quirky, modern decor of bright colours with eccentric touches. The bed was extremely comfortable and the entire hotel spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the check in and check out, especially the latter. We were the only ones checking out and it took over 25 minutes! The hotel had charged us for breakfast each morning which we didn't have it and then we had to pay the city tax and that took forever. In fairness, the hotel had very recently installed a self-service check in and check out system but there were obviously teething problems. Ironically, when I spoke to the manager, she thanked me for telling her how lovely the staff were and agreed with me that personal service is what customers love. Yet, on the other hand, the new system was designed to do away with that personal interaction. Technology is not always preferable and in this case, we had to skip breakfast in order to get to the airport on time.
