I was forced to pay a $50 deposit for the room. I was told if I paid in cash I could get the money back the next day after checkout when someone inspected the room. If I put the $50 deposit on my credit card it would take 3-5 business days before it was refunded.

My stay was okay until housekeeper came into room at 9:30 in the morning of checkout without knocking or allowing us to get up.

I’ve stayed at this motel many of times .... to the point where I’m aware of the $50 deposit for incidentals needless to say after my stay I was told I wouldn’t be getting my deposit back bc the room smelled like smoke and there was “residue” on the table . As I stated to the clerks at the desk all of the rooms smell like there’s constant smoking in them and going down these reviews I see more than half of them complain of the rooms having a smoke smell . My boyfriend whom stayed with me that night has Asthma and cannot be around any type of smoke or it will cause a flare up ; the rooms also have “smoke detectors” if those even work .. assuming they do bc to have a fire and not have them working would be a big law suit but wouldn’t someone smoking in the room set the alarm off ? Taking responsibility for the residue yes but what I do with that is my personal business but how can one assume there was smoking in the room but no evidence of smoke ? Hence ashes .. or a triggered alarm ? I don’t think it’s right that they can just tell someone no we’re not refunding you your money for the dumbest reason in the world Then the manager had the nerve to tell me I should have called the desk if the room smelled like smoke this is a motel for crying out loud; stink bugs in the corner of the ceiling and a spider crawling up the wall as I’m trynna eat my food .. disgusting...nd so is the management.

Full of Bugs
The room was full of stink bugs. The hotel was sold out and they could not move us to another room, so we were stuck there. I asked for and hope that I receive a refund. We will never stay there again!!!
