Reception / concierge r professional and pleasant. Hotel location is great.
The hotel is located near train station and shopping at Queens St n eatery is within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very happy with our 2 nighr stay there.
We booked one night stay at Mercure Brisbane King George Square, its location is good as its very near to Queen Street, room is also with acceptable size for 2 adults & 2 kids. However, we were horrified as toilet was flooded after shower, we have to wait for 1+ hours to change room.
Room not worth money paid. Bog standard hotel which was advertised as luxury. Would never go back. Restaurant steak was awful and rooftop bar is far far smaller than picture make it look online. Falsely advertised on a 3rd party website of ‘Superior king room’ when hotel only has queen beds and for from superior.
Upon arriving I was greeted by all staff. The staff were helpful and happy. I wasn't required to pay a huge withholding deposit which was refreshing.
there was no hair dryer and personal hygiene stuff, location is perfect though
Bathroom sink was dirty. Ironing board had no padding so was almost unusable.
Beautiful entrance area , bar ,& Restaurant & room
Room was very comfortable, good bedding and pillows. Good to have tea making facilities. Nice breakfast included in our rate. Speedy checkin, pleasant staff. Rooftop bar was great.
Couple of touch ups in the bathroom woukd be nice to make it more like the rest of the hotel but overall excellent
