Very good 8.0
It was good except for the carpark security. The hotel can put in more effort to ensure that only hotel guests get to park their car in the designated lots. Public cars have been seen going into the carpark from the exit instead as the hotel did not fix the gantry.

Central comfort
The hotel had friendly welcoming staff. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had a great range of options. The room we had experienced quite a lot of street noise but otherwise a great stay

Great Location
The hotel is perfectly situated near the waterfront, shopping area and boat terminals which were all just steps away. We had Suite 1102 - a huge corner suite on the top floor. The views from the wrap around balcony were amazing. We had a great stay but the hotel is showing it’s age as follows: the air conditioning in our room was weak even on the highest setting and the laundry areas on every even floor were a bonus but the equipment was dated.

Looks fresh, but the experience is barely average.
We stayed in the Tropical Luxe Premium and there was nothing premium about this particular room. There was nothing extra about the room that provided a better experience for us. Advertised to include a 50" TV, but the TV is too limited to be worth any use. There is no guide to know what channels are or what's scheduled. You are unable to use outside sources like a laptop on the TV so no viewing pictures you took of your daily outings on the bigger screen, so the TV was absolutely worthless. The pullout couch is for more people staying in the room which we did not have, so having that couch was of no value. Advertised select rooms have direct pool access or 2 person bath, which our room had neither. The plumbing pipes bang when shutting off the hot water. Moisture between the window panes made our view not worth extra, even if there was something to actually look at our window (which there wasn't). Our room should not have been a Luxe Premium room, there was nothing of value for us in it. We had a bit of ants in our room but attributed that to the climate and not much to help it. The pool closes at 7, so after going out on a day tour that gets back at 5 or so, then eat dinner, you don't have time to use the pool making that of no value. 2Mbps Internet access via WiFi. Bottom line is they market value props but fail to deliver in any real way. If you are just looking for a roof over your head, you can do better for less. Looks fresh, but actual experience is barely average.

A Great, Convenient Choice
Loved our choice. A lot of hotel for a reasonable price. Room was great, bathroom was spacious. Just a couple minutes to the piers to catch the reef excursions, or for evening waterfront dining. Breakfast was certainly fast, convenient, and with plentiful choices. Even a Casino a few steps away if you are interested.
