Close to the main Zurich city. What I dit not like is that there is no AC and the weather was very good so the room was warm to sleep.

We booked for 2 single rooms for 1 night at Zurich ibis styles in May23. Service: During the check-in process, in short, we received comments like these from the reception: "Didn't you see I'm busy?"; "if you're not happy, you can go to my next colleague as I don't want to help you because you looked unhappy."; "Please remember you've come to the cheapest 3-stars hotel in Zurich, it has the best location & and the best rooms for the money. So you paid what you get!" I explained to her, of why her customer service was unacceptable & shouldn't ever said somethings provocative to insult her customers & also label ibis as a "cheap hotel" with rights to insult its customers. Later, she apologised, saying it was due to misunderstanding. Unfortunately, it had already upset my wife & ruined our stays and the remaining trip in Switzerland. Rooms:I stayed here before so I knew what the rooms were looked like. I somehow had a good night sleep. We were on the higher floor (6th floor) & it's credit to the receptionist afterall. However, my wife didn't like the room as the temperature was too high for her (20c). Also she didn't like the mirror above the bed & she couldn't sleep at all. I also liked YouTube function on TV which was always a bonus for convenience! I liked the electric curtain too! Location: Fantastic location, just 7-9 mins walk from the train station & in our favourite, familiar quiet area in Zurich. Breakfast, plenty of hot food options, but lack of fresh fruits. 3 stars.
